The multi-verse

I don't know if it has changed in the last 8 years, but when last I was in grad school, we were in a galaxy spinning in a Euclidean flat-planed universe. But what if universes work like dimensions and you can have them perpendicular to each-other? Is that how the multivariate works and if so, what is bigger than the multiverse?

Make up whatever you want. All of this is nonsense.

I have been lucky and fortunate in a bunch of ways recently. I do wonder if my consciousness is constantly shunting into the "best" dimension over and over again.

I wouldn't think of dimensions as having innate differences in greatness, although that may be an interesting thought experiment.

The omniverse is what the ultimate structure is called.

It is possible, as there are billions of stars in the universe, that there could be billions of universes in the multiverse, each as close to each other as soap bubbles in a bubblebath.
Some think that when you make a decision you "fork" the current universe, and it begins at that choice while the choice you did not take - and everything occurring therefrom - stays behind in that universe.

This is the dumbest discussion in the history of this BBS.

Hugh Everetts Many worlds

interpretation of quantum mechanics is what you are referencing. The poor guy was laughed out of physics for his theorem. Now, the mathematics are leaning on the side that his theory is probably true.
Also, the reason my theory here will probably fail is that I just did some research into dimensions and fo7nd that it is not a priority for them to be orthogonal (perpendicular).

For instance, imagine a dimension where I did not just get savaged online.

Maybe we need to do more research into dimensions.

This is one of my favorite experiments on the subject of dimensions.

The double-slit experiment has nothing to do with dimensions and everything to do with how some things in nature behave like waves until they are observed by humans and then they begin behaving like particles. It's called wave-particle duality.

So it's like Twitter. People behave normally until they get on Twitter and then they act like assholes

You people need to do more research on your dimensions.

But you just mentioned Hugh Everett's many-world interpretation just a couple posts ago

Then you are cordially invited to go away. I'm sorry for how you didn't have a choice and were forced to read this thread. Oh wait, you weren't, were you? If you don't want to be here or participate, well, "don'r let the screen door hit you on the ass on your way out."

That makes sens if I understamd what you mean By orthagonal/perpendicular, If I understand from the definitions, time (the 4th dimension) can only be entered at the point one is currently at, and can only move in one direction.
I once wrote a blog post years ago titled "I'll take Dimensions for 10, Alex." If I can find it on the Wayback Machine, I'll repost it.
