This morning, after a very refreshing nap, I wole up, and remembered what the dream was about. I mean, this is the nighttime sleeping a person does at the end of the day, but since it was only about a couple of hours, I'll call it a nap..

I was upstairs in a room of a house with some unidentified person, and they were turning the light down from bright to low. I'm looking out the open window into the black-as-night darkness, which aparrently was on the second floor, and wondering whether anyone noticed the light.

I woke up at that point, so I don't know if that was the point or if it would have been the beginning of a much more complicted one. I suspect it was a dream fragment as my dreams, when I remember them, tend to be more intricate, sometimes with "plot holes" - an instance where what happens in the dream would not work in the real world. Like being in one place abd them instantly somwehere else after it is necessary to move. Oh yes, it was also in color.

There are a few possible meanings to dreaming about dimming light..

Uncertainty; struggle to understand; loss of power or mental clarity; feelings about approaching death.

Also can show a change of normal awareness, from darkness to light, saying something unusual is about to be experienced.

It was a dream about light because you are a star!!

I've been having dreams that I'm being chased by someone who is threatening physical violence against me and I'm in my wheelchair and I get stuck. Like I'll have to jump out of a window and I obviously cannot do that.

I fully support Blue aping my handle and replacing me.

For 3 years, when I lived with my second husband, if he came home late at night i would sit straight up when he walked in and scream at the top of my lungs . I have a neck injury from him that causes me pain every day. He raped me 3 times when coming to pick up Noel. He raped his brothers fiance. He sexually assaulted my 63 year old mother. She was too embarrassed to tell the police...

I will be disappointed if you leave. Please understand not all of us visit every day, and sometimes notification of new messages misses things. I for one, would like you to stay, as i would be interested in having real conversations with someone smart. And you're a woman, obviously you'll have a different take on things than everybody else here.
