Awwww. I'm pretty sure boy kitties can legally be named Sweetie as well though you might run into some passive aggressive resentment as a result. It's kind of inevitable that the bed will be pooped on at least once so maybe it's better to get it out of the way early.

Thanks yeah, we have 800 saved up. We need 1200 for first months rent And security deposit. Then we need 5-600 for a bed. Then we can move. But we still have to wait. We are on 2 waiting lists.

Pets cause very serious feelings for their owner, and even those who aren't pet parents have empathy for them. The animal is completely dependent on its owner, and (at least in the case of dogs, and probably kittens) gives its owner unconditional love and trust.

Yeah I know. I've owned multiple cats, my old favorite us still with my exhusband, but he won't give him back when I get out of here.

I wasn't around during the original BBS days so I can't speak to what the dial-up Jolt Country was like, but this forum -- the current iteration of Jolt Country -- consists of less than ten middle aged men all dealing with varying degrees of stress, anxiety, family issues, and day-to-day bullshit. If you are looking for the equivalent of likes or thumbs ups or some other form of digital dopamine, this isn't the best place for it. You seem like a nice person who got dealt quite possibly the shittiest hand a person can be dealt in life, which is why the people here who knew you from before are all too nice to tell you that nobody here cares about random song lyrics, poems, or kittens. The combined compassion level of every member of this forum is roughly the same as a German Zyklon-B salesman.

You would be much better served to create Twitter and Instagram accounts and post pictures of kittens there. You'll get a lot of likes and comments. They are kitten people. I'm not telling you this because I want you to leave or because anyone here hates you. I'm telling you this because you are looking for a level of attention that you are never, ever going to get here.

While I appreciate what you are saying, I think you are misjudged by a small sample size of posts. I posts math posts, movie posts, TV posts etc. When I add to a post or just say something simple like "I agree" the thread completely dies. I'm not an attention seeking whore, I just want interaction. But thanks for telling me to go to Twitter where I can get those likes to stroke my little ego...

Deets about our kitten, Punkin.

I have never seen a kitten colored this way!
With that 50/50 percentage of white and orange. Punkins mom is a calico, her name is Ginger. There are no details on the father, apparently my friend Amy's kids let tge mom out on purpose to get her pregnant. She is a Mackerel Tabby cat. She is the oldest in a litter of 7 kittens. 2 black, 2 white, 2 orange, and her, the creamscicle. She's six weeks old rn, She was born April 5th, the same day as my oldest daughter, Anna. 80 percent of orange cats are male, but Punkin is a female. She was named by Stella who is 11 years old. She cuddles with Stella multiple times a day, she is Stella's favorite. Stella named her and asked if i would keep the name and we like it too! I've been told that Punkinis extremely soft and cuddly and sometimes likes to play and softly nibble. Right now, as a kitten, the whole litter is still doing the whole climb up your body to get petted behavior. Bc we won't get Punkin til 5-6 months old, we can get her fixed b4 entering our house, a new strange place for her to warm up to. We both enjoy petting and playing with cats all day and the bldg that we are moving to only allows one cat per apartment, so I think she'll get enough attention. Plus my kid, Najma, is a cat-person. She's so adorable! And we're so excited!
