So Atari is all about banking on the 2600 and the 800? Can't they come up with something that'll play modern games?

Hrm. At this point I feel like all I need is to replace one of my original 2600 controllers (broken base plastic) and buy a couple of nice USB Atari sticks and paddles now to get this full experience with the real thing and the Raspberry Pi 4 RetroPi setup I already own.
As far as them coming up with new shit.. "they" who own Atari have changed quite a lot since the Jaguar but eh.. because of the Jaguar that's very unlikely.

The Atari 2600+ is just $129, with how inflation is we spent almost that out for dinner and drinks on New Year's Eve. OK, I gotta get this stupid thing.

If you tell me that we can play Combat online against each other, I will also buy one.

Now we are cooking. I successfully did not buy it in January in an attempt to not impulse buy things, but February is coming up. We'll see what it supports.
