It would have been nice if Ben had used 0.00001% of his talent and written a top-ten IF game by now, so I could put it on a CD and ask him to autograph it for me, but he's more concerned with how well his "fart... hehehe" posts come out than actually taking the hobby by the nuts and making everything we thought we knew about text adventures.... a lie!

(With White's Warren -- I mean, Ben's dad -- no longer around, I feel obligated to be the person in his life who is telling him that he's a big failure. Is that wrong?)

One other thing. For bruce:

Say, did you ever find a guy to do the cover art for the new LOTR game? I did a Google search on my name the other day and lots of people think I did the actual painting, and not just the layout and font. Actually, the probably presume that I used a Windows font for the letters, when I didn't, as such a font wasn't out at the time. Here's how I feel about all that:

Anyway, did you eventually get the services of someone who is gonna hook you up nicely? Because if not, hey, I want a crack at it. So I can redeem myself. (I mean, we're friends, so if I take a week and do something up and it blows you can tell me and my feelings won't be hurt.)
