Haunted House Reviews

Well, I actually got to hang with ole Robb Sherwin and his wonderful new pretty lady Dana. I must say I had a heck of a good time.
I am starting a comic book collection and Robb was just the buddy to lean on. He got me reading some good ones as we visited the comic shops by my house.
The fun didnt stop there. We enjoyed two awesome haunted houses here in Denver.

Primitive Fear was the first one we enjoyed. We purchased VIP passes as the wait was 2 hours to get in with the normal tickets. Man, haunted houses are expensive these days, but I feel this haunt was worth the price.
This haunted house started out in a completely fogged out room which I always enjoy and generated fear from the first room. I would say this haunt did suffer a little from the black plywood walls a little, but was still good in scaring the poop pellets out of our group.
As my family has always been involved in haunted houses, I feel Primitive Fear did what many haunts dont and that is rely on good actors. You can have the best props in the world, but if you don't have unique ways for your actors to scare they will lack interest and overall bring down your haunt. Primitive Fear had the phsycological scare working well, with dark tight corners and utilization of phobias.
My favorite scare in this house had to be the a swamp room with actors dressed as trees. We actually had someone in our group hit the floor twice.
Frightmare:
This haunt has always had the reputation of beinging the best. I find it funny that this haunted house hands out religious pamphlets at the end :(
This house wins appeal with its attention to detail and the outside touch. This haunt is located in a field with an old barn. The line for this haunt was an hour just to buy our VIP passes. Going to this haunt makes me depressed as I see the amount of people paying good money to get in and my family always says we could do better :)
I would truly say I always enjoy a good chainsaw chase or walking through an old barn. This haunt does both, but ends poorly. I mean, clowns are scary, but I want something like jumping into hell or facing Lucifer himself. Just walking through a clown room and then done, come on man. Can we at least get an impaled human or something :)
So I write these reviews in hopes some of you may have visited your local haunted houses and can share your experiences or websites.
