Does anybody have any experience (or know anyone with experience) running a small online store, using any existing web hosting companies, and if so, do you have any suggestions or recommendations on who/what outfit to go with?

Just a small store, we're talking about here. With a niche catalog.

The more look/feel customization we can do, the better.

The cheaper, the better.

Why should I have to worry about "leaving myself open" for something when I'm just asking for a little HELP? On a BBS full of supposedly intelligent, decent people?

1) Yes, actually, I do sell shit through an on-line store. Feelies.org. How they handle the financials is beyond me. I do know that you can Paypal payment to them. Is that what you want? If it is... at all... I can get you in contact with some people who could tell you what they know. For them, "Ben Parrish" is still the harmless, fun, chucklemaster who created Annoytron and not the rage-in-the-cage possibly-droid douchefuck who has made my living a living hell lately.

2) There's no fucking "2," but I'm not going and editing this shit for your benefit.

Go to poehosting.com. See if they have anything in place to handle credit card payments. See if they allow pornography to be sold on their site, which is what I suspect this is really about: you selling nude pictures of some girl you've sweet-talked into taking her clothes off for you.
