Here are the career stats of future hockey hall of famer Ron Francis.
You'll note that they go from the 81-82 season to the 03-04 season.
You'll also know, because I am telling you, that he started his career with the Hartford Whalers... a team that became the Carolina Panthers in 1997.
But if you go back and look at Francis's stats, they have Carolina listed as the team he played for from 81-82 until 90-91.
Poor Whalers. =(
