When I lock the cats out of the bedroom, they both attempt to open the coin door and get inside.

Now, keeping in mind that it's been six months and I still haven't fixed my Crystal Castles game. Should I allow these cats into Xenophobe where they could possibly rip apart a wire? Because I obviously failed at fixing my other one (I am going to make One Last Attempt, Swear To God This Weekend on CC) I don't think I should let them anywhere near the working one.

Oh, and regarding Bill Simmons's "How Much Would You Pay Game" -- I would pay $500 for someone motivated enough to solve Xenophobe to visit my apartment. Just saying. That's how much I would pay. I feel like I have a copy of the world's biggest fucking side scroller, the world's largest NES cart in my living room and I desperately need someone to "win" it with.

I will miss it, of course. Even though I had gone as far with it as I could go, it was still an amazing, somewhat rare piece to the gameroom. (Rare meaning I don't see many of them around, not rare as in numbers made or anything, of which I am not certain.) It was also the only game I've ever had that has given me zero problems whatsoever. It was polite, is what I am saying.

It was "OK" for them to go into Xenophobe because the monitor was not accessible to them. If the anode on a monitor were to get dislodged, there is the remote possibility that thousands of volts could go through them.

This possibility does exist on a few other games which don't have locks. I'm going to get locks for them, sure, but in the meantime they could possibly stand learning a lesson or two, don't you think?

It's just like The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, except it's all cats and coin doors. Oh, and presumably less heavy-handed Christian symbolism.

Thousands of volts could go across them. You measure current through a component, voltage between two points.

This was really funny, by the way.

At the end of one of the books, it is revealed that a bunch of those Lion and Witch kids died in a train accident, because they presumably didn't believe. I am trying to tell the cats this, but all I really get are a bunch of blank stares and questions about whether or not the Lord of the Rings was a Christian allegory as well.

I don't think you remember what i told you about that ending very well. I read it when I was 10 years old, and *I* remember it better than that.

As far as I know, the end of Lion the Witch and Wardrobe has all the kids dying in a massive train explosion, caused by the fact that they weren't Christian enough.

If that's "wrong" or something, then so be it.

I also recall that J.R.R. Tolkein was pretty adamant that LOTR was to be taken pretty much directly from the Bible. He hated when fanboys tried to say otherwise. It was when his son, George R. R. Tolkein got involved, that revisionist history started.
