Just got necrotic drift, I'm clueless when it comes to IF games. I'm in chapter 4, just beat the zombie, get the phone, and had trott open the gates to the sporting goods store. I can't seem to find what I'm supposed to do next, it won't let me open any more gates or enter the sporting goods store. Could somebody point me in the right direction? thanks in advance

Here, all you have to do is talk to Casey a few times and then there should be a ruckus in the Sporting Goods store.
Thanks for downloading the game! I hope you are enjoying it.

IF stands for "interactive fiction" or in other words "text adventures. I made one, Bugs! I made a few, actually. You can check them out right
here.

thanks for the help, unfortuently I'm stuck yet again. I got past the wraith and threw the perfume over the rail, everything points to I should be taking the elevator down, but I can't seem to find the right words to do it. Is there something else I'm suposed to do before going down?

I'll check the game itself, but I think that after you
>enter elevator
You should be able to
>press down button
And then go from there. Does that work, by chance?

What is wrong with you? Why are you trying to give people a hard time?

i gotta ask one more question before i try to beat the game by myself; I'm now trying to deal with the mummy, and have read in other threads here there's a torch you have to knock down. Where is the torch? Is that how you defeat the mummy or is there more?

If you throw something at the torch it should fall onto the dry mummy with hilarious results. I think you can grab a skull from the catacomb-like entrance right before the room with the mummy.
I want to say that I think you can outrun the mummy if you do everything perfectly, but it probably requires save-restore to get things timed perfectly.
I regret not lighting one of my friends on fire for a good mummy picture. Perhaps someday.
