Pinto Adventure

Post by wojohz »

Okay, the 'Marjorie Hopkirke' thing didn't quite fall through. So I'm working on my own game, _Pinto Adventure_. I plan to accompany it with _Mystery Garage_, a rip of _Mystery House_ made with the mhto_kit. Maybe it turns out the car is the killer, whatever. But _MG_ would take place before _PA_ and require little work on my part. Hopefully I will do all of this.
And these format codes are so I don't have to do _this_? Well too late now, Tabtabtabtabtabtabtabtab-Enter

What was the Marjorie Hopkirke thing, wojohz?

(Please forgive me if there are some late replies in the future. I'm trying to catch up to things and be more regular about addressing the desires of the Hugo community. Stuff is just BLOWIN' UP right now. Like, for instance, there is a huge article on text games in "Computer Games" magazine this month. That came out of nowhere!)

Really? I don't get that magazine. Do they have it online?

Oh, I was creating code for that Textfire Release, 'Who Killed Marjorie Hopkirke?', but it was too much of a pain and I decided to just make my own game, Jonsey.
Additionally, if anyone has pictures of a Pinto pre- and post-explosion I'd appreciate being contacted.

um, creating code based on the compiled version, as practice. but i've worked some through the manual and figure writing my own game would be less tedious than backwards compiling a game. i also plan to port some games only available as Windows executables to Hugo. any suggestions?
