Hey, do any of you guys use a program to make GIFs that you particularly like? I was thinking of buying a banner ad from the Portal of Evil or Something Awful, and was going to begin looking for proper GIF creation tools. Just wanted to see if anyone has already gone forth and done this.

Additionally, I'd like to say that Download.com throwing crippleware, shareware and demos right in the mix with the freeware stuff is one of the things I really hate about the internet. Yeah, I know you can filter it but it's such a pain in the ass to do so. ... Yes, that is what I would have liked to have said, additionally. Peace out.

I just downloaded the "Microsoft GIF Animator," which seems to be a freebie, and will give a whirl. I will report back to base with my findings. Out.
