Hey man, don't be so quick with that. You're not speaking for everyone. It's kinda grown on me, to be honest. In fact, I quite like it! I like it very much, in fact!

No, wait a minute. I hate it, and always have.

Yeah, put the other one back.

The new one -- good? bad? I did this a long, long time ago so no current investment of time should come into consideration. I don't think it's as good as the one which is done up in the FoD style, but I want to keep this place "phresh." If this one sucks, be honest; tell me.

OK, after logging in a couple times I realize that it is very, very loud.

I shall change it ASAP.

Actually, I'm not real big on logos that include the phrase "cum rag".

You realize that after that I have no choice other than to make a logo with the words "Cum Rag" there in 72-point type, right?

And I'm guessing that this is an original, since I did a Google search on "plaid Cum Rag" and came up with nothing.

I like it. In fact, I love it. "Where the D&D clientele see the ???? clothing accessory as the plaid Cum Rag" ? Sheer fucking BRILLIANCE.

Yeah. it's from the work-in-progress.

OK, I have never done this before and I will never do this again (and in fact, I reserve the right to change any of the below text) but here's the quote in context. The rest of the game isn't so bouncy-off-of-dialogue, I swear:

(Oh, and if DAK is reading this, Barnaby Gibs is the character that you play.)

(Oh, and if Lex is reading this, the narrator is the character that you play.)

(Oh, and if Joe Mason is reading this, the clerk is the character that you play.)

"Kee-rist you've got a pretentious, arrogant streak in you when it comes to that Mall," says Barnaby. "How did I get myself into another endless discussion about the fucking Mall with you anyway?"

"Show some respect to the only place worth dropping money at in New Haz."

"Hey!" exclaims the clerk.

"No offense," I shrug. I turn back to Barnaby. "No, seriously, only hippies and pagans hang out there. I thought you hated those kinds of groups."

"I hate everybody," says Barnaby. "No, I need them for a trip I'm taking. Mardi Gras is next month." That's right: Gibs had mentioned this, but I couldn't afford to go. "Anyway, the people that hang out there are like the polar opposite of those that hang out in your store. Where your peeps see not showering as a kind of badge of honor, the girls over there smell sweet, like fruit. Where your customers are hideously overweight and convinced that they are 'living life to the fullest,' they are curvaceous and toned. Where the D&D clientel see the ultimate clothing accessory as the plaid Cum Rag, they -- "

"Okay... OKAY. Jesus, I frigging get it. Your point is made."

I liked the creepy logo ... I like this one too. I haven't found many images I dislike.

"Clientele"; put an "e" on the end. Fix it in the logo, too.

But I like it.

"Clientele"; put an "e" on the end.
And: clientelle; put an "l" between the "l" and the "e" on the end.

Not according to dictionary.com.

I don't spellcheck until the game is just about ready, I should add.

Microsoft Frontpage 97 then becomes my final authority on how to spell words.... and in this case they have "clientele" as the word proper.

Well, yes, but that has nothing to do with my using FP97's spellchecker for text. The two text editors that I use (PFE and EditPlus) do not have spell checking capabilities, as far as I have been able to tell. That leaves me with either having to go muck about with some plug-in, or installing Word onto my main PC and going from there. I refuse to have Office on my gaming/development PC, so that nixes that. So basically what I do is use Hugo's extract text command to throw all the words that the game displays into a text file, and then throw it into a blank HTML page in FP97 and go from there.

This is probably really inefficient, and I am not married to the idea of doing things this way, but I haven't had the desire to figure out a new way to do things on my own, either.

EditPlus has a spellchecker if you download the EditPlus spellchecker:
