... this evening. There's over a week's worth of posts I have not responded to. We'll get this place jumping again.

My parents drove out to spend Memorial Day Weekend with Dayna and I. At one point there was a classic car show and I took photos, even though I cannot identify more than one of the cars. I'd actually like to find a place that would let me upload them and allow true royalty-free use to those that would need such images. Allow me to go into further depth:

I need a photograph of a gorilla for something I am working on. I would like to charge money for the end product. I have been checking for weeks to find a place with no stupid EULAs, or licensing requirements for commercial works.

I recognize that professional photographers are a talented bunch and that they deserve to be compensated for their skill and talent. However, again, I have an issue with paying hundreds of dollars for a picture when the end project I am working on will not likely generate that much.

Many "free" photo sites are perfectly happy to let you use the photos on their site, provided you are not doing anything capitalistic with them. To me, that doesn't mean "free." But what do I know about search engine optimization and the word "free" as a keyword.

So yeah, I took a bunch of pics of a somewhat interesting subject and want people to be able to use them without feeling they have to credit the photographer. I am probably just going to start a Flickr account or something. Hopefully you can upload a hundred photos at once -- I have messed around with photo gallery software that I grabbed from Sourceforge ... OK ... one piece of photo gallery software, and you had to upload each picture individually. So I am pretty open to advice here.

do you still need a gorilla photo? I think I've got some we took at the Toronto zoo, but would have to dig them up.

Y'know, if it is easy for you to find then that would be awesome. But don't sweat it if it is buried: I need to take a trip to the Denver Zoo at some point, I am just not sure when. Thank you very much, CO!
