I am going to link to 10 websites that I enjoy on and off. Let's see if it results in anybody new coming here. We're having a golden period - why not see if more than 20 people can enjoy it?

Rather than make this a huge thing, I am just going to provide the hotlink and a description.

This guy is playing through every one of the Ultima games, in order. And writing about his experiences.

8. Cryptomundo http://www.cryptomundo.com/
This website lists all the new goings-on in the scientific field of cryptozoology. Remember, they found the okapi! A very fun and entertaining site.

7. The Happy Cube Productions. http://thehappycube.proboards34.com/index.cgi

They had some alternate reality game stuff here, but unfortunately it looks like all discussion is dead.

6. The Blitz 3D Website http://www.blitzbasic.com/Home/_index_.php

I am going to use this software to make an arcade-style game after Cryptozookeeper is released.

5. The Bird Sanctuary http://www.birdsanctuary.co.uk/sanct/s_intro.php

I believe this is Richard Hewison's site. It has a wealth of information about British adventure games.

4. Peter Hirschberg's Site http://www.peterhirschberg.com/

He has a home arcade that is one of the most unbelievable things you will ever see. He also ported the Atari 2600 version of Adventure to Windows. And he runs an 80s-themed radio station. He's a goddamn Renaissance man.

I had a Google Alert for my name, as someone said the writing for that book reminded them of me. All I know is that I love the book! Intentionally not finished because I want to buy a physical copy. But I think the whole thing is there.

2. Kissing Suzy Kolber http://kissmesuzy.blogspot.com/

I recall that they were quick with the Chris Berman hate, which I support. Here's my impression of every male above the age of 30 a week ago:

"Hey, the home run derby is on! I'm going to tune it to ESPN and... ah... shit... that's right, Berman is calling it. Fuck. Oh well, I'm going to go surf pornography."

I think the one legend he hasn't tackled is, "True or False: Stan Lee Stays Young By Feasting on Blood, Vampirically." Don't let anyone tell you different: it's true.

Can the rest of us play too?

Absolutely! The only way to lose at this game is if the webmaster in question comes over and is this huge jerk. So failing that, every entry ... every post is a winner!

7. Mega 64 - A bunch of idiots who do things related to video games.

6. Leisure Town - A bizarre, often crude webcomic starring posable rubber cartoon animals.

5. Orisinal: Morning Sunshine - An ever-growing collection of simple, cute, and very very good Flash games.

4. LibriVox - Free audio recordings of public-domain literature.

3. Toothpaste for Dinner - A guy who draws pictures of things that bother him.

2. Fully Ramblomatic - The website of Ben "Yahtzee" Croshaw, creator of the incredible Chzo Mythos tetralogy of graphical adventure games.

1. The Perry Bible Fellowship - One of the most cruelly funny, and best-drawn, webcomics out there.

Holy crap, the review of Derek Smart's Universal Combat is still one of the funniest things I've read in my entire life. I wish they did game reviews more often.

Yeah, they used to be fairly regular but in lately they've dropped off to once or twice a year. Pity.

I don't really have much of a list that doesn't only consists of webcomics, bummer.
