I like reading about other people's arcades, so I am slowly writing up pages about my own.
The one I was closest to finishing was the one about Xenophobe.
Enjoy!
You may also ask me any embarrassing questions about Xenophobe in this thread. Embarrassing for me, of course.

Are the ads coming up on the Xenophobe page? There should be two, on each side, going lengthwise.

no ads for you!

WTF? Why would they suddenly not show up? I hate Google's policy of not showing ads if they determine you are the site owner. You never fucking know if they come up at all, afterwards. Christ.
Thanks for checking.

Here is a picture of how it looked before Gyruss showed up and before Polybius went downstairs. I'll shoot another pic when Spy Hunter is working.

Well, SH still isn't working, but here it is:
Not pictured is the Crystal Castles, which is off to the right hand side.

Arrggh! What I am doing slumming with Mr. Do! when these comments are made?? I could be playing Asteroids and drinking beers with Ben "Pinback" Parrish.
Freaking Do!

So what is in that Polybius cab?

Right now, there isn't anything in there. The marquee up top does light up (there's a blacklight in there) so it has a nice eerie effect when the lights are off, but that's it.
I have a PC ready to go into it to the left of where the photograph starts. I've got all the parts for the control panel in two boxes, and I've started the wood for the control panel as well.
I'm basically waiting on the guy I bought the Major Havoc roller from two Sundays ago. I'm really having a lot of bad luck with sellers recently, but that's this huge other thing.
Once the roller shows up I am going to measure it and then take the wood board down to the saw inside the haunted house that Milkunits is managing. I'll cut out the square for the roller. I have a drill that will allow me to create the other circular holes for the pushbuttons, spinner and joysticks.
And then I will put the PC in there and -boom! - MAME cabinet.

Hygreed don't you read, it's the best MAME setup in all of Colorado.

I can't think of a more fitting cabinet for a MAME machine than Polybius.

it would have been posted before your reply if I hadn't answered the telephone and talked to my boss for ten minutes. How's the ip checkin, Jonsey, how's the checkin?

It was either you or Draal, so I had a 50/50 chance.
How's the ip checkin, Jonsey, how's the checkin?
It, like most phpBB functionality, is a piece of shit.

It will also be the best MAME setup in all of Colorado. So, yes.

And the control board will accommodate your average pod of octopuses. Do they travel in pods? well anyway, it'll be awesome. Robotron sticks as well?

I'm basically going to get the thing to transmit an image of my head like J. Jonah Jameson's Spider Slayer, and get the thing registered to vote.

Added a story about how I broke Mr. Do! bringing it down the stairs, but then fixed it. If you know anything at all about how electricity works you will think I'm an idiot, but that's okay because I am.

Last night I had a weird corruption issue with Mr. Do!. It's very possible that I am running too many games off the same circuit. So it looks like that's it for any more games.
Thank you for following this thread! This has been...
