This guy is so quiet and unassuming, I love him. Apparently at the last Amazing Meeting (the James Randi thing), Phil Plait from Bad Astronomy, Penn Gillette, The Skeptic's Guide guys and Brian Dunning were all standing around in a circle, chatting for 30 minutes, and eventually Penn says he fucking loves the guy.
This little hand goes up in the circle "that's me". His background is in visual arts so he's good at it, and entertaining, but he's so unassuming no-one even recognizes him at a meeting of *skeptics* from all over the world, without his makeup.

As I was saying on MSN: Captain D absolutely needs his own show. I am stunned he hasn't been signed by somebody already. He works hard, is creative, is funny and could make the entire goddamn show himself, so he is uniquely qualified to star, write, direct and do the CG.

Hopefully it happens.
