The Kyle Turley Contract Watch!

Things are looking well! The New Orleans Saints would like to lock left tackle Kyle Turley up in a new long-term deal, and Kyle would definitely like to be in New Orleans!
In fact, Mike Detiller had the following update on Saintsreport.com today:
Whooa-ooah-ooah!!! Negotiations are getting hot and heavy! I hear ya, Kyle! $8.5 mill for a left tackle is an insult! You can make more than that punching people in the face door-to-door! This is supposed to be the National Football League!

The Saints would like to keep Turley and they did offer him a very generous new deal just three weeks ago, but according to team sources, after mulling over the offer for just a few minutes he quickly rejected
it and muttered, " this deal is no good and I can make more money wrestling than this."'
The deal would have put Turley as one of the top six paid offensive tackles in the NFL and his rejected signing bonus was over $8.5 million dollars.
Let me see him get that kind of cash from Vince McMahon. Right now Turley's long term future does not seem to be in New Orleans and I wonder if he really wants it to be just so.
