I bought "The Darkness" for $8.99 from a person on eBay. I know one thing about the game. I guess it has a couple good "character" moments. I'm otherwise going in completely blind. I may read the manual before bed. I hope it works in 1080p mode. Now that I have an HDTV, I am a 1080p snob. (NOTE: I do not own a Blu-Ray TV.)
So here's hoping.

So here's hoping.

I enjoyed this game- enough that I played through it enough times to get all of the collectibles and I mean to play through it again at some point on the hard difficulty level.
There's a bit of a learning curve on it, though. Originally, a certain part a little ways in handed my ass to me repeatedly. Eventually, one gets the hang of it, though, so keep at it.

You know me and learning curves. I don't learn a god damn thing. I'd like a learning c- I don't know enough about graphs to go where I wanted to go with this sentence.Roody_Yogurt wrote:I enjoyed this game- enough that I played through it enough times to get all of the collectibles and I mean to play through it again at some point on the hard difficulty level.

I will say that it takes a special group of developers to work for years on a project called "THE DARKNESS." That's the sort of mindless devotion to THE PRODUCT for THE VIDEO GAME SYSTEM that I don't know if I could ever pull off.
But I guess it all worked out well for THE PLAYERS.
