80-year-old U.K. Billionaire Bernie Ecclestone was mugged November 24 in London for the cash he had and for his watch, valued at about US$300,000 (GBP 200,000). The man and his girlfriend were injured in the assault. Ecclestone said the assault was uncalled for; he usually doesn't carry much and would have given up anything he had if confronted.
You gotta love this: Ecclestone, with his bruises and bashed up face, appeared in an ad for the watchmaker, with the caption, "This is what some people will do to get a Hublot watch."
