Since AARDVARK ran a 15-answer quiz, I'll do one.
What one thing do Takoma Park, Maryland and Hong Kong have in common?
Same rules: you only get to ask questions which can be answered 'yes' or 'no'. You get 15 questions and you'll get three hints.
Hint 1: it's the same thing in the same way under the same condition for both.
Next hint at 5 and 10 questions.

he probably just googled something like 'Takoma Park Maryland Hong Kong same day" and it was the second hit , 99% sure of answer

Ugh, ok.
"Takoma Park and Hong Kong unified on the same date (July 1, 1997). The People's Republic of Takoma Park unified into Montgomery County. Hong Kong unified into the People's Republic of China.?
