What don't DC fire trucks have?

Fire trucks - fire engines - in the District of Columbia lack one thing that fire trucks all over the country routinely have.
What is it? Let's try the same thing, 20 questions, yes or no answer, and I'll offer a hint at 10 and 15 questions.
Let's try for the same thing as before, place the question in ALL CAPS to distinguish a real question from intervening discussion.
I think this might be fun.

I am really surprised someone got it this fast, this is the correct answer. All other DC Fire Department vehicles have either standard DC government plates (white with blue letters/numbers) or they have special "Fire Department" plates (red with white letters/numbers) but the fire trucks themselves do not have license plates.
I think it's because if they did, being parked next to fire hyrdrants the Department of Public Works would ticket them!
I'm not kidding, if a DC police car is parked illegally in DC the ticket writers will actually write it up. And it means the officer who parked it will be held liable for the ticket.

City of Los Angeles fire trucks don't have California's state seal on them. City of Alexandria, Virginia and County of Arlington do not have Virginia's State Seal either.
