Jani Lane, the (now ex) lead singer of Warrant, passed away last night at the age of 47. Pills and booze were found at the scene ... then again, I suspect pills and booze could have been found within reach of Jani Lane at any point over the past 20 years, so who knows.

I remember when he was on Celebrity Fit Club and had gained all that weight from the alcohol and I was like, Guh-hee-uh-ee-uh-eeze!
I can't say that I was a fan of the band, other than the stuff I heard on the radio. I do remember seeing them live once, however. I think they played the middle slot, before Motley Crue on their Dr. Feelgood tour, but after openers Winger.
