Help Me Contact Christ Roberts

I have so far managed to communicate with anyone in the gaming world I lay my sites on. Or sights on. Whatever. Both really. Robb Sherwin, Tom Hall, John Romero, etc.

However, I cannot find Chris Roberts, man of Wing Commander fame.,

Any help?

www.pnrfilms.com is the closest I've come up with -- apparently some company re-making the WC Series and making a live-action series. Something about downloadable content too...

Look around their site, it's interesting. info@pnrfilms.com bounces, even though it is a contact link on the SITE.

According to a search I just ran, the word "about" has never been used before this post on this BBS.

What the fuck's that about?

Xenophobic.

This is fun.

And WC rocks btw; I've started collecting it, starting with a fully boxed set of Wing Commander I for the Amiga; pull-out charts and graphs of the fighters and all.

Kilrathi Saga is still going for $300+, tho :(

I only wrote you back because I thought your first name was "Alexandria" and there might be some groupie head in my future.

Anyway, didn't you write Cadre as well? I presume that you did, because back when you had that webpage on M-I-S-P you noted Photopia and CDJ as two of your favorite games. Seeing how a few months back you wrote a drunken raif message exclaiming to the world that Adam had never written you back, it looks like there is one person you contacted who had his life in order to the point where your creepy, stalker-esque e-mails were not thought of as amusing.

Speaking of fame, I need to find someone remotely involved with D&D and remotely famous to "play" a cameo in this work in progress. I'm running out of time to find somebody. Ah, maybe I should just use Gygax and not tell him -- it's all text anyway, right? (Does an author have the legal right to put a living person in as a character without their permission? I have no idea. I don't want to break any laws.)

You could try writing to Gygax. He's remarkably good-humored.

He posts as col_playdoh on the kenzerco.com HackMaster fora.

You could try our own beloved Gerry Kevin Wilson, author of <i><s>Avalon</s>Once and Future</i>, who worked on 7th Sea and some of the early AEG tiny modules.

I'm gonna do it. This post will remind me. I am going to take that step.

Wish me luck.

Good luck?! Why? Is he going to rip me a new one? This is why I often don't contact my "heroes" over the Internet. Once I met Douglas Adams and it took every bit of self-control to not come off as a GIBBERING FANBOI. Gygax is going to put butter on me and eat me whole isn't he? What are you saying? What do you mean here?

Who ARE all you people?!?!

Ah.

It appears that once again I have ruined everything.

Apologies.
