Text Adventure Weekend Review Gang Bang?

So, I was thinking this -- what if we all agreed upon some text adventure, all played it this weekend, and then all wrote reviews about it? It could be an old one, or a new one, or one that hasn't even been created yet! Okay that would be difficult, but the old or new ones are still good.

Obviously it would either (a) need to be a smaller game, or (b) need to be one where we all won't beat it in a single day.

Any suggestions? Any interest?

Hello ... hello ... hello ... is there anybody out there?

Will write more ASAP, but I APPROVE of this. Especially since the Saints are on a bye this weekend.

I would be up for this. The hard part will be picking games that all of us haven't played (or played adequately). Games I'd be interested in doing (pulled mainly off of lists from that "top 50" thread):

Slouching Towards Bedlam
Lock and Key (started many times, still haven't made myself play through)
An Act of Murder
Treasures of a Slaver's Kingdom (not sure how big this one is)
Bonehead
Vespers
City of Secrets (I believe I've started this)

Anyhow, there's plenty of other stuff out there, too.

I'd be up for Slouching Towards Bedlam or City of Secrets.

A Mind Forever Voyaging has been the one text game that I've wanted to play, but haven't.

I'll be up for any of the games on the list but preferably it'd be one that none of us have been exposed to.

I've only played through AMFV in its entirety within the last couple years. I'd like reading about somebody else's first thoughts, though.

Also, for AMFV enthusiasts, I'd recommend playing Nick Montfort's Book & Volume, which managed to capture some of the same feel as it.

Flack's gotta pick. FLACK'S GOTTA PICK. Then next time we do this, someone other than FLACK GOTTA PICK.

NOTE: I may or may not have a computer this weekend that works.

Well let's not get crazy, it wasn't that hard.

I don't trust you, zoha, but I don't not trust you.

This was a good idea and I wish that I had done this with Flack. My brother had an idea of playing through some of the games we got as kids with a walkthrough. Why do I never have time for the good stuff?
