I saw him on the "Dick Clark's Rockin' New Years Eve" show, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and I will be damned if it doesn't look like Clark had a stroke or something. Damn shame, but of course, Clark has been around forever, I mean, they mentioned the show has been on for 40,000 years already! Clark must be, what, older than Metheuselah?

Wikipedia reports that Dick Clark had a stroke in 2004.

I find it kind of embarrassing watching them roll him out every December 31st. Have the guy retire already. Like they did to Jerry Lewis.

My friend asked when did Dick Clark start turning into Admiral Ackbar. It's a valid question. Like thousands of other celebrities, Clark must be surrounded by "yes men" who are too afraid to tell him that he looks like a (barely) animated corpse.
I didn't want to see Richard Pryor or Muhammad Ali shaking uncontrollably in wheelchairs, and I don't want to see Dick Clark slurring through another New Year's broadcast. At some point they're going to have to subtitle everything he says.
Last year he messed up counting down from 20. I really thought that would be his last performance.
