So tonight's likely the last night I'll have to enjoy life for a bit, so a bunch of us got together and got hammered. I ended up at the Star Bar (popular nightclub in Atlanta, Georgia... Brandtson can confirm) with a few friends, among them, one of our anchors.

To give perspective: she's a stunningly beautiful woman, someone any sane man would pay money simply to look at, unless he was gay and dead. After we danced and drank, she gave me a ride home, during which we discussed our love lives. I held forth on my romantic endeavors, then she bemoaned her single-ness.

To help her out, I let her know that she was my first real CNN crush.

Her: "For God's sake, why didn't you ever try anything?"

Me: <blank>

I'm going to be shutting my head in the laundry room door for the next six hours. Semper fi!
