Yeah. That was pretty good.

FROM THE ARCHIVE

I now present FROM THE ARCHIVE Here's Q and A to present FROM THE ARCHIVE

Q: Well, A, we --
A: FROM THE ARCHIVE!

Our first entry is from Adam, back in 2006 or something when he was playing Pantomime. I was searching through old mail in order to re-register necroticdrift.com (it had expired and no squatter wanted it) and found this:
> x taft
Taft today is not as large as he was when he was President of the United States of America, but he’s still pretty roomy. He has Criscoed brown hair, a handlebar moustache that hasn’t been in style in almost 200 years and locomotes with a waddling gait.

He is dead.

> search him
(assuming you mean Taft)
Taft doesn’t let you search him.

Chmod, facing a different direction than you, suddenly gasps. “Oh... oh, no...”

He presses his cold, robotic hands against his face in horror. You both see Scarlett sitting upright, so comfortably in her chair... her dead eyes looking straight ahead, head slumped to the side, her white blouse quickly turning a deep crimson.

=-=-=-

OK, so: on the one hand, the dead Taft should not prevent me from searching him.

On the other hand, Jesus, that's great. I--the player--don't give two shits that the (ex-)President has been shot, but GOD DAMN THAT FUCKER KILLED A STRIPPER AND IT WAS MY BUDDY THE ROBOT'S FAVORITE STRIPPER NOW I WANT HIS HER OR ITS BLOOD.

Speaking of William Vest, Gerrit and I will meet for the first time this weekend, at Pinback's wedding.

My girl thinks it is weird that I have photos taken of myself where I am shaking a friend's hand in the photo. Well, maybe she finds it endearing, I dunno. Look, I just want proof that I have met this man in person for everyone is all!

There's an old dude that works at a post office I service a vending machine at sometimes named William Vest. He also wears a leather biker vest (though no patches) every day of the year.
