Unfortunately, Ben's pathetic unprofessionalism means I can not tell you when the show will start, Milker. He hasn't responded to an IM of mine in a half-hour, and gchat currently says he is "away." We should all think less of him for this.

The first show is over. I have some things to say about it. However, I guess I have to do this first, and this is the ONLY time I am going to mention this again, because this is harshing my buzz on one of the greatest nights of my life:

If I had given you the impression you were definitely going to be on the show, and weren't, and this inconvenienced or disappointed you in any way, I apologize for that. I was assuming that after 20 minutes I'd be desperate for anything to happen, but as it happens, shit just rolled naturally. I was, how you say, "swept up in it".

Thank you anyway, for at least tuning in and being a part of the creation of the show, which all of you reading this were. Except for Bruce.

I'll have more to say later, but it bummed me out that I got off the mic, high on life for the first time in 20 years, and found out that people were pissed. MY BAD.

I was VERY disappointed that someone mentioned the Ting Ting's without a rebuttal being in place; jesus christ, is your collective taste in music bad enough that there wasn't a single person to call Pinback out on it?

I think maybe people were confused because nobody was really introduced. I kept thinking Adam was going to be Adam Thornton. I didn't know who any of the callers were either.

I think we should all keep in mind that even with all the test sessions, this is still all coming together in under a week.

We should take some positives from it as well, but I'll start a new thread for it.

This entire show is an unprecedented jerkperiment into the nastiest possible radio one can conduct If "Don Rogers" wants to go after people on the radio, I suggest he go after HIS fucking friends for a change.
