Gameboy Advance SP Is great

Got the last one at Circuit City. Got a free game with it and it was only $90.00. I am impressed! I really like playing some of games that were always dark on the normal GBA. I love the feel and look of this little beauty. It really has a more adult feel to it now and is actually a little more comfortable to play.

Now all I need is that GBA flash card.

Anybody know where I can get one of those cheap? Anyone heard of a new solution for burning roms for the GBA???

gbax.com and gamegizmo.com are the ones I know about -- but the new Flash Wallet looks quite cool -- plug it ontop of a writeable cart and just use memmory stix ;)

GBAX is the best one to check for news (of new ones coming out) GameGizmo / Lik-Sang for buying over here/There////////////////..... everywhere.

I have been trying to win one through a Kids WB contest by entering my little brother in it.

That is evil.

In other news, I am conning my company out of aprox. 100 "30-£ off" tokens that come with the GBA SP here.

I figure I can sell the for 20 each on Ebay.

Now I am looking for a way to make this beauty into a cell phone. After you get one, I think you will agree it will make a great cell phone.

Anybody developing a cell phone option for it, if not they should god damn it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I couldn't find the flash advance on Lik-Sang or else I would have snapped it up. It's $80 for the 128 from Hong Kong Toys but I don't like how they email you back after you order with the shipping cost.. a smooth 20 spot. If I can avoid those crooks I will.

I took a chance

I took a chance on Ebay and no luck. I like the wallet idea a little better, but I am open to comments and suggestions.

I took a chance once on a couch and won a baby.

Just kidding, had to throw that in there.

I guess you have to still purchase the Flash cards for the game wallet to work. Damn, if all I needed was the smart media option, I would have shit my pants here at work. Now the $ is adding up!! The flash cards are expensive!!!!!!

$20 to frigging ship a flash cart? Those thieving sons of whore do know that cart is short for "cartridge" and not "shopping cart" right?

You could get a Hong Kong bride shipped over here for a little more than $20.

I am NOT paying 25% of an 80 dollar purchase for shipping. Shit, the thing could go around the world twice and not incur a $20 shipping charge. It's a GBA sized cart and a fucking printer cable.

That's terrible. They are the only ones who have it, right? Why not just raise the price of it, then? WHY THE PLAYER H8TING??! Slimey!

Well I ran a quote on shipping a 1lb package at the fastest available shipping option and it was $110HK (about $14 US). So if they ship with the fastest option they are still jacking you 6 bucks (46.75 HKD) And I doubt they ship using that method.

I wish Lik-Sang still had them - they also have a headphone set with the propietary connector which goes directly into the SP... for CHEAPER than just the ADAPTER lists for.

Greedy fucking bastards, not including a standard heaphone jack. I'll be DAMNED if I buy an adaptor. I'll buy 10 of those piece of shit earbuds things to avoid giving Nintendo a sale on the headphone adaptor.

Lets get this fricken place pumped upppppp!!!!!!

I am absolutely loving my SP. Games like Castlevania are so awesome now!

They say this baby is small enough to put in your pocket. I am afraid, I just might release love juice all over its buttons.

Fricken shit rocks! I need the following: A cheaper flash rom solution, A cell phone add on, a good headphone adapter, and a nice shave beaver.

Am I right that you need to buy the damn flash card to enjoy the gamewallet?

Get pumped up!

If you do end up getting an adaptor, please make it 3rd party. For me. This is one of the single greediest stunts I've seen pulled. The fucking adaptor plug is BIGGER than a 1/8" headphone jack!! ARGHH!!H

Yeah, it seems kind of pointless to me. If I already have a flasher and a cart, why the hell would I want that? Just to say "OH LOL I CAN USEUM COMPACT FLASH, TONTO"... I mean, you can get a whole nother cart for the price of the wallet and just flash it directly.

Is the Milker's desire to turn the thing into a phone just idle speculation? I have to presume so. I'd buy two of them right this instant if there was a way to turn that into a cell phone.

Well, given that it has no built in mic any addon would add bulk to it..kind of defeating the purpose IMO.

I'd much rather get a GBA emulator with online support so I could become a Pokemon Master.
