Comcast and its motherfucking "weekly" EAS tests
Comcast likes to run a "weekly required" test of the Emergency Alert System, the successor to the Emergency Broadcast System, about every two days. At least when TV stations ran an EBS test, they did it between programs, they didn't simply break the program, insert an EBS test, then go back to the program having blacked out two minutes of the show! And it's like Comcast always likes to pick the shows you're interested in, they can't use the warning to interrupt a commercial. Plus it's like the claim of The Outer Limits, you see the channel number is "EAS" on the box, which means it replaces everything on every channel on the cable system and you can't change the channel until they let you go.
