I wonder if this is the thing Jerri Ellsworth is working on at Valve.
Anyone think they might get this?

Yeah, just what we need, the SBox or the Steamstation.
Maybe Valve - and coincidentally, its customers -would be better served developing games that don't require internal defragmentation or rebuilding because their internal database has been corrupted (by the game itself).

So does this thing come with a keyboard?
With rumors that desktop PCs are a dying breed, I can see trying to extend PC gaming into the living room.

Until the end of the year, I'll only be commenting in threads where Tdarcos makes a comment relevant to the subject of the thread.

Yeah, it was good knowing you. You got my number? Let's stay in touch.
I guess, for the rest of us, the question is: will Steam fuck it up? Huh? Will they?

First there was the ironically named Phantom console, which ended up being vaporware. Now on the horizon we've got the Android-based console ("Ouya") and this Stream based one. Whoever ends up being successful in this venture needs three things: successful hardware, a successful front end interface, and a successful back end store that makes it easy to purchase and manage your games. I do see a future in sitting around my living room playing games on a big flatscreen ... it's just, who will put one there first?

This thing had better run on steam as well.
