I was clearing out my attic the other day, and found the original Steel Battalion from 2002. I decided to introduce various friends to it after a drink. Here's a playlist of First Experiences:

Fantastic video series. Thank you. Every year at the local gaming convention, there's a Steel Battalion setup, but I've never tried it out for more than a few moments. These videos will make me linger a bit longer next year.

For a game that's played on a 733MHz processor with 64MB of RAM, the graphics have aged really well. Probably helped by the game's primary conceit: Everything is viewed through cockpit monitors. It's like psychic anti-aliasing.

A couple of the girls wanted their videos deleted so it's down to 3. I'll add more to the playlist as they occur.
