We will be discussing topics.

Also, Tdarcos will be interviewing the bridgetender.

Paul,

Robb Sherwin, producer of the Don Rogers show here. Yeah, to clarify what Ben said, we'd like you to talk to one of the guys who was on the show at the end there, the Bridgetender.

Also, Gerrit! Gerrit, where you at!

To set the stage I would like Paul to begin the conversation with a discussion of Beringia and work forward from there.

I have confidence that we will all have intimate information regarding the bylaws of the bridgetenders union local 405 by the end of the show.

Bridgetenders are in the "International Union of Operating Engineers" and they don't have a local # 405.

1. This will go down as one of the "best of"
2. Steve completely failed as news anchor despite his voice for it.
3. Relevancy is a real word.

I believe the tape will show that you said "revelancy", though we'll see.

I admit to failing horribly. Perhaps I can tape a couple bits and send them in to the show. This ten o clock time slot is a killer the next morning.

(edit: I didn't know bridge tenders even had a union, I was just making that up)

I'll second that, too. I was just looking it up to see if there really was a union or if they were really in Local #405. Then, to my surprise, I find an article where the bridge tenders in some locality majority voted to join the union. Then the article mentions they're in a right-to-work state which means that they are not required to join the union.

----
Shop Steward 1: Hey, you guys are not allowed to picket here!
Picketer: We're picketing the place over unfair labor practices.
Shop Steward 1: I don't care why you're picketing, you can't picket here unless you're a member of the Picketer's Union, local #76! Hey! All of you, if you're picketing here, you're doing scab work!
Shop Steward 2: Not so fast, they can't be doing Scab Work unless they're a member of the Scab Pickers and Wound Cleaners Local #1104...
