I was sitting in my little home recording nook. Your producer was driving in the middle of Denver traffic. I'm guessing at least two out of Paul's three fake personalities could figure out where the noise was coming from.

With those kind of production standards you're never going to make it on KHUM.

Maybe he was trying to scoop an exclusive interview with the Drive-By Truckers, but, forgot they are a band and not just a specialized group of hard-working people.

The reason I kept dialing back in was because I thought I was just getting disconnected and didn't realize I was being hung up on intentionally. Can you play a sound on the soundboard right before hanging up on people to let them know they've been dropped? Maybe a toilet flushing or a guillotine slamming down might do the trick.
