Starcraft Universe

I backed a MMORPG version of Starcraft called Starcraft Universe on Kickstarter ( a week or two ago and have just now finished the Backer Survey. This led me to wonder why I backed what will essentially be a free download through Battle.net...
1. Giving them $20 assuaged my guilt over downloading free maps that obviously took hundreds of man hours to create (Mineralz and Smash TV for SC:BW, I'm looking at you).
2. At the time, it was unlikely that they were going to meet their goal.
3. I'm a sucker for soundtracks, even if I won't ever actually listen to it.
4. As a former SC map trigger junkie, I'm delighted to see someone actually devoting real time and development resources to what is essentially a .map file.
They are essentially creating a SCII version of WoW that I won't be interested in, but the general feeling is that I wanted to see them succeed (when that was in doubt). Will be interesting to play none the less.
