I sort of like resolutions. They sometimes help! Here are mine.
1. No longer doing the minimum. This week I had a tire blow out, a water pipe burst in my house and a video card die on my PC, all because I am mentally weak and lazy. This is tough to "nail down" but I am no longer doing the minimum.
2. Weigh less than 215. My weight has spiraled out of control and I need to ... well honestly, I just need to get 30 minutes of exercise a day and bring my lunch in. Christ. I can do that.
3. Finish Cyberganked. Well, finish the content and get it into beta testing. I think I can do this if I put my mind to it. I am enjoying working on the game ... more than any of the others, except for Chicks Dig Jerks, to be honest.
4. Write an article for Caltrops or JC once a week.
5. No money spent on arcade games or pinball machines in 2014.
6. Move in with Melissa.
I like this list!

I am, as usual, in desperate need of some resolutions I can stick to.
I will update this thread once the list is complete.
I'm sure I can count on your support for helping me achieve whatever is on the list.

One box of donuts a week, minimum.
I like resolutions that are easy to work with.

If I could stay on this new eating plan which involves more salads, I could increase my bowel movement count to at least three shits a week.
It feels better when my body stops acting like a nuclear power plant and because Yucca Mountain is not ready, stores its toxic waste internally. Then all of a sudden there's an emergency evacuation alarm.

My number one is never to read the comments section after any online news or magazine article. The people that comment are all trolls a-flaming and the discussions quickly turn into hate posts
In order to keep me on my narrow goal I installed Disconnect as a Firefox add-on. Besides blocking all the trackers it can also bock most comments links so I'd have to click three additional times to see them.

well that didn't work out so well. I just realized I have been reading the news headlines, skipping the actual article and diving right in to the comments. Ug. Well most of the news is bad stuff anyway. Not worth my time...right? Right?
