The Official Jolt Country E3 2004 Thread

I SINCERELY want to go to E3 in 2004. I got no idea where I will be or what I will be doing or where I will be working, but I want to go.

The way it is right now, if I thought I could get a a bunch of tickets to E3, and plans like this could be made in a month, the lineup would be something like me, Jack Straw, and Vitriola.

Jethro looks like he is serious about doing it next year, too. We definitely need to get Lex over here. I am guessing that all is preventing his going is the price of the flight and the fact that he is scheduled to be sexually tummy molested by his boss that weekend in 2004. But maybe we can work around that.

So anyway, keep reading this thread for info. Well, don't continuously read it... it's still over a year away.

All I'd want to see is the latest BethSoft game.

We'd be filing reports. This is a SERIOUS venture.

Well, Ben has ignored the e-mail that I sent to him. I imagine he thinks I am "kidding" or that at the last minute I am going to "uninvite" him or something. Pffaah! Pfah!

Anyway.

I would be all about a 2k4. I started to respond to your email and don't think I ever finished it.
But yeah, definitely. RAWK.

Would you seriously steal crap for me? This seems cool but I wasn't aware E3 was something you just went and got tickets for. I though there were requirements and such.

We would, Worm. I am looking at E3 like some kind of real-life Gauntlet level. "Red Warrior needs food, badly" and all that shit, sure, but also ... TREASURE!!!

I just heard from a guy on the ifMud that registration is $275. Ouch.

Hey, I might go. I mean, I realize I'm not as <i>cool</i> as everyone else, and I'd be the guy you ditch in the Denny's bathroom in Utah, but, hey.

HAH! I am even LESS COOL! So you register a group or a single person? Hmmm I make this sound as if it is happening right now.

What I mean is ... do you have to register $275 for each person or as groups?

Let's RAWK. I wanna see the new Doom III footage that will be rockin' outa there; and seeing what SEGA are presenting would be good. It would also be dreafully amusing to see what the Phantom has to offer, as they never registered, but insisted they were going.

2004 offers nothign that' really pounding my heart, yet. But it's certainly worth aiming for. We must have contacts, right? If I pull with Tom Hall, and we all pull in our guys, surely we can achievesomething? I read somewhere that even working for EB Counts...

Jeez! 275 dollars a head? I couldn't cover that. If it was a group money could be saved by gathering 275 people. Well, I am getting a summer job but I'll end up spending that money on a new mouse or ..... I'll probably end up spending it on DDR.

On the other hand, the retro video game exhibit (Bruce knows what it's called) is in August, and it's in Las Vegas. More, they'd *want* us there. Whatever it costs to get in would be pennies on the dollar for us.

What's a flight from Forty Fort to Vegas, Worm? I know you're broke, but you're one of us, and I don't want to see you miss out due to something lame like finances.

A Vegas trip would also shut up Pinback, whose incessant drama whoring about spending a weekend in Vegas with your friendly neighborhood sysop has been a point of contention with him ever since something was setup and I couldn't make it or some such happy crappy.

That'd be the Classic Games Expo. Although, for you guys, PhillyClassic is a lot closer (just happened this year; it's usually late March/early April).

CGE this year is August 9 and 10. It's a whopping $25.

He's seven-fucking-TEEN, dude! He's not even allowed in the casinos. Are we supposed to spend the rest of the weekend playing Goofy Golf down at Charlie McTickle's Kiddie Palace sipping juice boxes and playing Skee-Ball?

Shut the fuck up, newb. When you have posted as often as Worm then maybe I'll take your opinions a little more seriously. Until you get to about 500 posts it's all just buzzes and scratches to me. BUZZES AND SCRATCHES.

Why DID it reset my # of posts, anyway? It still knows when I joined.

You know what a Java programmer would say about that.

if (user.numberOfPosts() < user.actualNumberOfPosts()) {
this.bbsSoftware.sucks();
}

Because you posted them all as "guest."

I guess I could go do some research and figure out how many posts you have. Note. I am not saying that I am going to go off and do this any time soon so don't give me any shit for it if it takes a week, month, or decade. Don't be "hating," please.

What research?
How's that fixing the colors on the login form coming along?
I thought people were saying that it was that way for the message input window. The login form? Yeah, I see that too. I couldn't care less if it's light gray on white there. Consider it a security feature.

How's that advertising your website coming along?
What the fuck are you babbling about here? Quit reaching, Mister Fantastic.

How are those custom emoticons coming along?
:(

How's that allowing guests to vote thing coming along?
Well, I at least have the code to do this.

How's that increasing the number of characters in a guest's name coming along?

How's that increasing the number of voting options coming along?
I NEVER said I'd do that, you horrible chunk of phlegm. NEVER.

How's it going?
Good! I just totally banned this annoying "Pinback" fag!
