An Evening of Jailbreak

I think an evening of Jailbreak with Quake 2 can happen -- I just want to see if the easiest way is for us to all get Quake 2 over Steam.
If it supports the Jailbreak mod, then I will install it and we can try out.... an evening of Jailbreak!

The close is currently scheduled for May 14th. We'll see if it happens. Things have happened to delay it that were out of my control, sort of.

The good news is that, yes, Jizaboz still runs a Quake 2 server for Jailbreak.
The bad news is that there may only be a Windows DLL for it.

Well what we could do is launch a Windows VM in Amazon Linux on weekends or something. We'd have to schedule our game(s) anyway if we expect to run into each other. This way we would have far more access to mods as we can load DLL files. I'd thought about attempting this in MONO for Linux but ehh..

Launch a Windows VM in Amazon Web Services rather.
Ya know, the ELECTRIC CLOUD.
