I have heard some people say that it disgusts them that people use these apps to deliver food and I would like to talk about it, PLEASE.
In Florida we had one vehicle, a KIA van that could carry 8 people. Except there were nine of us. It has one of the seat belts slashed. Because Wyatt's car seat can plug into the little metal brackets that non-child-raising people don't know their cars have, and people who do use car seats know are there, we made it work as best we could. We still had to have the other two nephews sit on each other for the drive back to the airport.
My wife went to go grab her aunt in Tampa one day, leaving everyone else without a car. We did walk to the Splash Park, which was a couple miles away and that was fine and fun. But when we got back to the house there was still no car, so we had some food delivered.
Unfortunately these apps don't have their act together, it took two and a half hours from the time I decided "let's order food" to when I got people accepting where it was gonna be from, when I tried to use Grubhub and gave up because they are a nightmare that never works, all culminating in a Hot Chicken place.
But anyway, there ya go. I ain't had no car, Lieutenant Dan.
