I'm one that loves salmon but hates fishyness, just cook it quick and add lots of flavor like either dill or a nice sweet glaze.

I would like to accompany you on this journey. I have some cod in the freezer that I shall defrost and consume tomorrow. Some basmati rice, some fish, some hot sauce or green chile, that will work for me.

But I need more protein in my diet, and I know there's a lot of other good stuff in fish, so I decided to make an attempt.

I made salmon in a butter & garlic sauce.

It still smelled fishy. One side still had the skin on it. But I powered thru the prep.

The cooking was easy.

It wasn't AWFUL. I still have a problem with the texture of fish. It had only a slight fishy taste (thanks to all that lovely garlic and butter). I finished my piece, but I probably will not make it again. My wife, however, who said she didnt want any, really enjoyed it.

Is there any kind of fish that I might like more? Haddock does not count.
