Yeah, we'll hopefully get the Milker to take his spot.

Randall is a no also

by Davis » Sun Aug 25, 2002 6:26 am

Talked to him yesterday, he's doing 2 or 3 leagues already also

no go for klux

by Davis » Fri Aug 23, 2002 6:20 pm

Say's 3 leagues will be too many for him. call me i dont have your new number at home

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Fri Aug 23, 2002 11:44 am

Update!!

Fodge has stated that he will in fact be rafting that weekend. He refuses to create a draft list due to the fact that apparently we are all going to have a copy of it during draft day or something. I am not quite sure if he is being dramatic for the sake of being dramatic or what. So there will be an indefinite pause as I have to go find someone else to take his spot, I guess.

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Fri Aug 23, 2002 1:07 am

Fodge has had the signup info for over 48 hours now. Feel free to give him a call if you are unsatisfied with how long it's taking him to sign his team up.

It's been almost a week

by Davis » Thu Aug 22, 2002 8:21 pm

Who the hell we waiting for now?? this is fucking stupid

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Tue Aug 20, 2002 12:23 pm

Well, it should be noted that none of the stuff that I mentioned came true. In fact:

1) Sailer didn't say anything to anyone, and when he did score, he did so in a relatively humble manner

2) Fodge played CB extremely well, especially since Ryan was flushing the QB over to his side on just about every play (and that guy didn't seem like the type who was able to easily go across his body to make a throw -- not a shot towards him, it's tough for the pros to even do that)

3) You (er, Davis) were able to comport yourself like an adult out there as well.

34-6. I don't think I'd ever been on a team that was up on somebody in any sport by half that margin, much less a full 28. Fantastic!

by Davis » Mon Aug 19, 2002 4:17 pm

Your fucking kidding me right?

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Mon Aug 19, 2002 12:15 pm

OPENING THE BIDDING!!!!

I offer:

Davis gives me his first round pick and second round pick, in exchange for my first round pick and second round pick. This drops him one slot in round one, but!! Moves him up one slot in round two.

What, who the current guy waiting to login is? It changed since the time of my original posting. Anyway, it's currently Sailer.

Great Davis, keep it to yourself, and since you've managed to keep yourself in such tip-top shape once again, your opinion is worthless. You need to spend time worrying about your own obvious short-comings and leave Fodge alone. If you're intersted in what the majority think, they think it's joke that you would complain about anyone else on the team, and probably think you would quit if you received 5% of the abuse you're giving Fodge. This needs to be the end of it. If you want to complain about Fodge you should at least attempt to become a better player than him.

ummm

by Davis » Sun Aug 18, 2002 9:58 am

All that drivel and you didnt answer my original fucking question. Easy solution to all problems with flag football. Don't let Fodge QB he is the worst choice by far and it's just not me and sailer that think that, as a matter of fact i'm willing to bet the majority believe it.

by Robb » Sun Aug 18, 2002 12:18 am

You know, you don't exactly have a roster spot locked up on the flag team as if you were Brett Favre or something there, bud. Actually, I expect that you, Sailer or Fodge will be thrown off the team at some point during Monday's game. The rest of us ought to chip in some money and wager on who it will be. One of the following scenarios will happen:

1) You will say, under direct orders to do otherwise, something -- anything -- to Fodge, resulting in your immediate ban

2) Sailer will say something to a member of the other team, resulting in a 15 yard penalty and his expulsion

3) Fodge will say something to the refs (on defense) resulting in a 15 yard penalty and his getting kicked off the team

You and I both know one of the three is going to happen. The best you can hope for is not to be "that guy;" that the second or third thing happens instead.

Oh, and I'll also predict that someone on Troy's team will attempt to snap the ball on two, but this will not cause either myself or Ryan to go offsides but instead a member of Troy's own team. You heard it here first. Reading this after Monday's game will make me look like fucking Nostradamus.

???

by Davis » Sat Aug 17, 2002 6:15 pm

Who the fuck are we currently waiting for to sign up then?? If it's Jewy that lame bastard should be dropped from Fantasy football and hopefully flag football also.

by Robb » Sat Aug 17, 2002 4:38 pm

Nah, you're fine, it was these other squeaking bitches who ought to be ashamed of themselves.

(On the off chance that Colville, who also signed up, reads this, I should note that he got logged in within a few hours. So he was fine, too.)

I was thinking of trying to trade down from #2, but I don't know: I've never been that far up before. Davis (or whoever) will take Marshall Faulk and I can then decide on a QB or something.

Unless Jeanes wants to move up one spot and guarantee he gets whatever non-Faulk player he wants.

Sorry Ladies

by Chris Monahan » Sat Aug 17, 2002 3:01 pm

My bad. I didn't get signed up until a the day after I got the email..... goddamn dial up access...........

by Ice Cream Jonsey » Sat Aug 17, 2002 2:00 pm

Hey, it took you (Jeanes) over 24 hours to log yourself in. If it takes everyone the same amount of time (and so far, it has) then it's ten days just to get everybody set.

Therefore, you're all living in a hell of your own design -- eat it, bitches!

whats the hold up

by Hjeanes » Sat Aug 17, 2002 11:25 am

Yeah Davis, my 3 for your # 1. Its easy and painless.
