"Problems" arose with shipping; more may arrive on Monday. If I am not sold a copy within the week, I shall most certainly quit. I'm not sticking with a company that treats, not only it's customers, but it's EMPLOYEES in this way.
So, if anyone wants some PAL games at 30% discount, this is your last chance.

Last time Steel Battalion was released some 90% of the 2,000 PAL versions were bought up by GAME-employees with their 30% discount to be put on e-bay the next day. Because of that the company has put out a letter saying it's only 10% off for employees this time round.

I am hoping my manager has not read that letter.

There's an issue with PURCHASING at FULL RETAIL PRICE this thing at the STORE you WORK AT?

Holy SHIT, Lex!!

by Lex » Fri Mar 26, 2004 1:34 am

Stupid goddamn world. This game is released today, and I'm about to go up after college to CLAIM it, with a bunch of stuff to trade in. I have a sneaking suspicion they're not going to give me a copy, though; I may have put down a preorder WAY before everyone else, but I didn't put down a £20 deposit in a one-week period exactly 1 month before release? A one-week period no-one told me about, let alone phoning the people who have put down preorders?

I will shout and scream, and if I do not get a copy I am quitting.

Keep ya posted.

Oooh, I'm blonde now, too. That's KEY.

Yea, what she said, but funnier.

Well, I think it goes like this:

Put yourself back in that EB uniform (figuratively of course), I'm sure it hurts(again, figuratively) but we need to go back there. Now, think about if a sixteen year old girl constantly hung out in your EB and really dug games. She's just always there sitting around, with breasts and all. If you were sixteen at the time (I don't remember the story well enough, if you were or weren't) wouldn't you follow her? From this BBS to Hell's own BBS?

I'm on Lex and sargent serious's side here. The fact that we'll never buy this game is all the more reason that they should talk incessantly about it. It's edu-tainment.

Yeah, point: Worm.

by Lysander » Sat Mar 13, 2004 12:38 pm

...I'm in Worm's corner on this one, yeah.

by Worm » Sat Mar 13, 2004 10:45 am

Yea, I ruined the forum in which sargent_serious and Lex could talk about a game that no one else would buy. How about a start a thread about us getting get together to LARP?

by Steel Battalion Man » Sat Mar 13, 2004 6:32 am

It's a shame Worm killed this thread.

by Worm » Mon Mar 08, 2004 6:20 pm

I gave this awhile. I saw it, and didn't really believe. Here I am, the summation of my fears, hopes, and dreams to only splurge forth: "huh?". What is that some "OMG U R GAY" joke? Was it a reference to the posting I do on other forums? Which a good part of the people here won't even get. Was it just some totally unrelated shit you typed? Could you not have stop hitting reload until there was somewhere you could showcase your awesome little gimmicky personality?

Look, I don't know if you are a real human being who decided start posting here under this gimmick reeking name, three sheets to the wind. Though with all message boards there is a slight responsibility to if you are going to try to take a thread off track you could at the very least start it with some gumption. Just don't pull this IYKWIM AITYD business unless it is a little joke.

Unless this was engineered to be entirely mystifying then I only have to say.

Come on Worm, we all know you like to be ripped into.

Robb, did I ever mention that you're really, really great?

And seargent: Female, yes, but sadly I suspect that there are few who would call me a lady. Did the signature not at least give you the slightest of clues?

Let's clean it up a little, Sarge. Maybe this Terrell Owens "HV A NCE DY TERRY DONAHUE SI A BLLY WRIGGIN GARTER SNAEK" stuff passes in This Man's Army or the Army of One or within the ranks of the rag-tag batch of disenchanted basteard scalliwags you're leading to the honeypot n' nectared Promised Land, but as far as I am concerned, the platoon's first mission is in liberating the Communications Base.
