While searching the webs for a few panel scans to prove or disprove Lamont's claims, I did stumble upon this:

http://www.comicon.com/cgi-bin/ultimate ... 2&t=007004

Seems Lamont isn't the only one who thinks the Vulture has turned black.

What are the odds that we get some scanned pics so we can determine this for ourselves?

For 40 years the Vulture has been a VERY white man and now he is a "shaded" character. Can't be colored though, must just be shaded...

The Vulture was white in my Spiderman Cartoon Factory CD and on the (FOX then/ABC Family now) Spiderman show with the "Spider Blood, Spider Blood, Radioactive Spider Blood" theme song.

That's not the same Nick Fury.

The Nick Fury In Ultimates is paterned after Samual L. Jackson. Regular Marvel Universe Nick Fury has always been White. Differant versions of the same charactor. Again...no big mystery.

He's White.
Tell that to Nick Fury...

His family is black because they are black. No real mystery there.

If an Interracial Couple have children they can be black or white. It's all a grab bag, you know. This is the same Adrian Toomes that has been the Vulture for 42 years and appeared hundreds of times throughout the Marvel Universe.

He's White.

Then why does he look black next to every white guy in there? And why is his family black? "I Have a Dream..." indeed!

He's white in my copy...

How about every single one of them Ray Charles.

Your 'idiot friends' are right. I don't know what panels led you to believe he's black, but no, he's definitely white.

Comments please.
Before, you always sort of felt bad for the Vulture because he was so old.

Now, with him being black, well, that's sort of a metaphor to how evil he's become, because he's black in color now. You're not supposed to feel bad for "this" Vulture.

This also works with Luke Cage, before and after it was revealed that he has tons of anal sex.
