It won't let you, since you posted as a filthy guest.

Just for my own curiosity, can you check to see if www.caltrops.com is blocked next time?

i could just edit the image so everyone can comfortably view this classic thread...

How come groucho doesn't have this problem? Maybe you should ask Jeff for advice.

by hygraed » Wed Mar 12, 2008 2:01 pm

Maybe you could install some sort of plugin that automatically thumbnails images more than 500-ish pixels wide.

We're done here in 19 days, so what difference does it make?

These threads with the giant images are really unenjoyable, aren't they? I need to find a mod.

Just realize:
I actually made a pandora battery at school for my friend. He brought in a PSP, I futzed around, found an MSI that does all the work, and made him his battery. He downgraded on the spot.

You need a spare card, a spare battery, and a homebrew PSP. Then you use that MSi and press like three fucking button and get a fucking scroll of ressurection for your PSP.

I've already signed up for the Pandora battery passaround on SomethingAwful, and I'm near the top of the list. If I get fucked out of it somehow I might hit you up though.

unless it requires firmware higher than that; i really haven't paid attention to whether or not they have a workaround for that. part of the reason I put it away - the newer games refused to run without flashing to a new firmware - I refused to "upgrade".
The slim won't run 1.5, but anything else will. I actually made a pandora battery at school for my friend. He brought in a PSP, I futzed around, found an MSI that does all the work, and made him his battery. He downgraded on the spot.
hygraed wrote:Yeah, apparently the new motherboard only removes the ability to softmod the battery. I can still hardmod the battery or get an already-modded one from someone else, so I might just see about doing that.

Yeah, you can't make the battery. Also you'll need an older battery. Once I have a minute or two, I'm going to make myself a pandora battery, which I can pretty easily post to you.

totally off topic, but why does "Websense" block Jolt Country of all sites? fucking gamespot isn't blocked.

Stop drinking so much, ya friggin lush.

hygraed: if you can still return the new one, I have a 1.5 that i never updated because i didn't want to jump through hoops to play homebrew. you can have it for whatever you paid for the new one plus whatever you want to give me for the extra shit; I haven't even turned it on in like a year. i have a card for it (1g), like 10 games and a nice hardshell case. screen protector, some lame lightup game stand (only the japanese would come out with a purple light up BATTERY POWERED stand for the games)..
let me know if you're interested. i'd much rather have someone make use of the thing than have it sit around neglected like so many other things (COUGH MR2 COUGH COUGH)

by Worm » Sun Mar 09, 2008 8:16 am

I'm pretty sure the slim is totally crackable with a pandora battery and a proper mem card. I dropped mine and broke the UMD drive, but I'm still playing patapon via CSO, it's pretty great.

Ok, I think I recovered this double post message and drove it right on into the ground.
