I believe that was Robbie Alomar, running from second base out to shallow right field to somehow snag a popup. Maybe it was '92, but I'm not sure either...

And who was the guy in the '92 series who ran from center field to right field and dove like 20 feet to catch the pop fly?THAT was amazing. Maybe it was '93. Damn it.. but that play is still ingrained in my memory.

The Jays got absolutely hosed on that call.

I've got the highlight videos from both '92 and '93. Seeing Joe Carter's homerun in '93 still gives me the shivers.

Holy shit, I forgot that you were a Jays fan. This now makes two of us. I can't tell you how much I'd like to be there on opening day, especially with Halladay pitching. That guy has been an absolute godsend.

It's been a long, long time since I've seen them in person. They did come to Colorado for a series last year, I think, but if I remember right I was pissed at the sport for some reason so I didn't go. It could have been the year before, though. A month before I left for Colorado I did go up to the Skydome and catch 'em one last time.

OK, now I am officially getting depressed for the East Coast.

Hey, all. Speaking of sports: I managed to procure tickets to Opening Day in Toronto at SkyDome on March 31 against the Yanquis and will be making the trek from Boston back to WNY/Southern Ontario for the game.

Given that I'm a huge Jays fan, I look forward to vivaciously celebrating Roy Halladay's perfect game and Byung-Hyung Matsui's spectacular self-inflicted compound fracture of the femur from an errant swing of the bat. You heard it here first.
