Hey, all. Speaking of sports: I managed to procure tickets to Opening Day in Toronto at SkyDome on March 31 against the Yanquis and will be making the trek from Boston back to WNY/Southern Ontario for the game.
Given that I'm a huge Jays fan, I look forward to vivaciously celebrating Roy Halladay's perfect game and Byung-Hyung Matsui's spectacular self-inflicted compound fracture of the femur from an errant swing of the bat. You heard it here first.

Holy shit, I forgot that you were a Jays fan. This now makes two of us. I can't tell you how much I'd like to be there on opening day, especially with Halladay pitching. That guy has been an absolute godsend.
It's been a long, long time since I've seen them in person. They did come to Colorado for a series last year, I think, but if I remember right I was pissed at the sport for some reason so I didn't go. It could have been the year before, though. A month before I left for Colorado I did go up to the Skydome and catch 'em one last time.
OK, now I am officially getting depressed for the East Coast.

The Jays got absolutely hosed on that call.loafergirl wrote:3 you bastard! I see you have also forgotten I am also a Jay's fan, to my stepfather (the yankees fan total dismay) though he also agreed when reviewing the tape that the Jays got a bad call in the '92 series when they got a triple play that was called a double.
I've got the highlight videos from both '92 and '93. Seeing Joe Carter's homerun in '93 still gives me the shivers.
