Understood. I will now talk about my problems.
I bought a Donkey Kong high score kit. It's supposed to save the high score. The guy who made the kit clearly states that if you have the 4-board version of Kong, which I do, there's a good chance you will have to desolder the Z80 chip on it, as it won't be socketed.
I took the boards out on Monday night, saw what I thought was the Z80, saw what I thought was a socketed chip and figured, psh, I don't need to desolder anything. I then ordered the kit.
Well, as it turns out I was looking at the wrong fucking chip.
So now I have a kit that needs a chip desoldered, and I am not good enough at desoldering anything to install the kit. Christ.
My high score on real Donkey Kong since it has been here is just 42,000. I am terrible at this game, but it and Alpha Centauri should have been in the top 100.
