I drew up a Crazy Doodle of the Commander Objectivist avatar in response to everyone else changing theirs and thought it'd be funny to have is show up on my posts. Maybe I'll just doodle in extra legs and cheese and stuff and just put it in the regular CD thread.

It's not a REAL report function. I mean, it works like one and all but it wont do anything. It just annoys the admins and they take it out on the person who pulled the fire alarm.

No no no, you're good. Let me walk back the statement I made over the weekend. You're a valuable contributor here.

When it comes to avatars - this is just how phpBB3 works, isn't it? I already have to figure out the post edit window. I think the deal with avatars is that I'd be letting images onto my server which can be a security risk, so maybe phpBB3 turns that off by default.

No hard feelings on my end either...hey....I was just thinking that a good compromise might be if you or AArdvark uploaded this picture he made of me so that I can use it instead of the temporary one I'm currently using? Just brainstorming here, let me know what you think? Thanks again.

I will do that. I have about 10 minutes in the morning before I need to go to work and phpBB3 makes it so goddamn difficult to figure out where to put them. I'll address it tonight, but yeah, anything anyone wants just paste it here and I'll download it and put it up.

I don't think it's a security risk*. Avatars should upload to /forums/images/avatars/upload and both the avatars and avatars/upload directories should be flagged non-execute.

(*In theory allowing users is a security risk. Just getting this out of the way for the Semantic Twins.)
