I saw an episode of The Flintstones where they stop at the Grand Canyon, only to discover it's just a tiny little stream. Fred, somewhat disappointed, says, "the guidebook says this will be really amazing to look at in a couple million years."

I don't understand why you refuse to get your quotes right, when within 20 seconds you could confirm them for yourself:

Then take a bunch of pix and drive back into Nevada again.

They had a security checkpoint which consisted of us rolling down all our windows and a guy in uniform asking if we had any firearms.

Air b&b #3 North Vegas.

A little sketchier than the last 2 but damn glad to be out of a hotel. Never realized how much like cattle we are when having to live by a tour schedule. There's a paragraph on tipping that I'm going to write about later. ( bump)

Sadly, we didn't have the time for white-water rafting. We did use the hot tub at the hotel, does that count?

You have to use something rubber, vinyl or equivalent that is inflatable to qualify. So the answer is, "Only if you had sex in the hot tub and used a condom."

And note that is not a question, I do not want to know.

Dinner here last night then a quick walk around the area. Very dry air here.

Vegas strip blows dead rats. So tacky.

I will never love this place. The homeless people shuffling around in front of these billion dollar hotels is discouraging to me. Did see Elvis in a rascal scooter, looked hot and sweaty.

Ten more hours before the flight leaves. Counting the minutes.
